The Chef is back!!!  After an 8 week recovery from surgery The Chef is ready to take orders.  The menu has been simplified but no worries, she is always open to special requests just in case you happen to scroll down a little to older posts :).  Otherwise, all meals serve 6 and prices are current. 
It is unfortunate that some prices have changed due to grocery costs.  The Chef felt it much more important to keep with fresh and healthy ingredients instead of cutting back in order to cut cost.

SOUPS ON!

Well its getting colder and nothing is better than a bowl of soup to warm you up, especially when it is made by someone else!  Leaving in the dark to go to work and coming home in the dark does not motivate anyone to cook.  We've got lots of new soups and pizzas so you don't have to be motivated to do anything but eat.  We've still got our most popular casseroles available as well!  And If you're have a family gathering and need a little help with the meal contact the Chef and let's make a plan!  HAPPY ORDERING!

September Additions!

Well, school has started back, schedules are now crazy, and what are you going to fix for dinner????  How about a homemade BBQ Chicken Pizza!  Turn on the oven, walk to the freezer, put the pizza in the oven, now enjoy and have a family game night!   Yep, its that easy.  You can even add a bagged salad and pour it in a bowl if you must feel like you've done a little work. But of course you'll need to order the pizza first.

July/August Menu! NEW HOMEMADE COBBLERS!

Well how about a quick update on Clayton before we get to the yummy stuff!  We dropped Clayton off at Camp Lakey Gap yesterday.  He jumped out of the car, found the first female counselor he spotted, and informed her that he brought muscle shirts and takes Tae Kwon Doe.  I'm thinking all of the therapy for social skills and all of the confidence from Tae Kwon Doe might be working a little too well.
Thank you for all of the orders over the past months.  Jennifer and High Point people, YOU ROCK!  All of the money for the casseroles, as always, goes into an account in his name set up for all of his therapy, summer camps, and other cool things kids with autism like to get in to!  Some of you have asked if we make the casseroles all year, that would be a resounding yes, yes!  I'd be happy to share the costs he goes through during the year, but I won't bore all of you, or scare all of you, so email me at any time with questions.

OK, on to the yummy stuff!

This round our featured recipe is the Chicken Chili Mac!  One of my favorites and healthy (just ignore the cheese although it is reduced fat).  This casserole serves 6 and is $12.
And of course our number one seller is still the Old Fashioned Chicken and Rice Casserole! 

And after much testing we have added something sweet for the summer, COBBLER!  Thanks to all of The Cook's taste testers :).  Peach is the favorite so far but we also have Blackberry and Blueberry.  And if you consider butter as your daily dairy intake then they are the healthiest cobblers on the planet!  Special thanks to my mom for her Tutor recipe.

Menu Update!

Well the cook has been busy busy these past few weeks.  And she could not be more happy about it!  (Nor could Clayton's therapy/camp account).   Thank you all for your orders, and continued orders.  I hope to have her post a new blog on her site soon so that you can read the full Lowe story.  But you can still check it out for a few tidbits :) www.agoatstale.blogspot.com  She's  a little behind on that.  I'll talk to her about it today. :)

OK, back to the important stuff FOOD!  I've been tracking orders, looking at the best ways to freeze items, and of course the cook had a few suggestions too.  This is an updated list with prices.  Some of the serving sizes for soups have changed, only because the cook found it difficult to get it all in one frozen bag for a large :).  But if you've already placed an order or would like something special or previous menus just let me know and we will get on it for you!  I'll say it again, this isn't just about supplementing finances for Clayton but also bringing happy family meal times.  The Cook's heart is filled with joy when she hears that people are enjoying the food, AND their time together.  I'd love to hear your stories and suggestions.
